OC Oswald da Andrade is one of the four Oficinas Culturais (Cultural Workshops) established by the Culture Department of the State of São Paulo as part of a project aimed to spread culture among the population.
The Oficinas organize free activities in different artistic fields, such as
visual arts, dance, photography, audio-visual, circus and performative disciplines, theatre, music, literature and cultural management.
The events, namely exhibitions, workshops, classes and performances, are designed with the goal to involve all kinds of audience.
Moreover, specific supporting projects are run to advise artistic collectives acting in the fields of dance and theatre.
