silent green Kulturquartier

Silent green Kulturquartier is an independent event venue located in Berlin, conceived as a space for research and experimentation. The site is animated by a varied a programme that includes both individual projects and events born from the collaboration between several institutions and partners.

Silent green is thought as a gathering point to encourage networking and communication. The spaces that form it bring together key Berlin actors with a focus on music and moving images, with institutions like the Musicboard Berlin, !K7 Records, headquarter entertainment, the Harun Farocki Foundation  and the public film archive of the Arsenal-Institute for Film and Video Art. Also the team members of silent green, such as its initiators Jörg Heitmann and Bettina Ellerkamp, come from a cultural and media background. Silent green hosts spaces dedicated to concerts, exhibitions, seminars and lectures along with a café.
