Balamuc / loc de joacă ş-altele (Balamuc / playground and other things)

Balamuc appears in 2014 as the manifesto-free experimental platform of three emerging artists from Timișoara: Livia Coloji, Răzvan Cornici and Ana Kun. The three develop individual projects in applied and non-applied arts, researching various approaches from painting and drawing to paper-cut, illustration and fanzine. The online presence of Balamuc is insured through the project
“the Norm / one drawing a day / keeps the doctor away” which consists in posting on the facebook channel of a daily drawn observation with or without a social-cultural-political subject. Balamuc has an open, collaborative dimension too – it held in 2014 the “Breakfast of Superheroes”, an exhibition-installation with guest artists and artworks from the pop culture area, and in 2015, as part of Art Encounters, a fanzine retrospective by Dan Perjovschi.
