V9 – Street Art Gallery
V9 is a cultural centre, gallery, workshop, reading-room. It was created by the Vlepvnet foundation, whose activities focus on the public space.
V9 is a place created by Vlepvnet collecive to celebrate urban art, street art and related phenomena. V9 presents exhibitions, conducts workshops and discussions, and provides artists with space and tools for creative activities. The gallery tries to present in-depth look at the graffiti and street art. Rejecting decorative and instrumental treatment of urban art, It draws out what’s swept under the carpet: the ugly forms, impolite emotions.
V9 is a space for exhibitions and artistic experiments that tries to expand the field of discussion about streetart. It presents exhibitions of recognized artists as well as debuts.
