Shanghai Night KTV

Shanghai Night is a club space located on 400, Caobao Rd. showcasing Mr. Qiao Zhibing’s private contemporary collection and must-see art site in town. The owner of this collection, Qiao Zhibing, started to collect art because of a simple need to decorate the nightclubs that he owns in Shanghai and Beijing. What initially began as a way to create an artistic ambience on the walls of the clubs, quickly developed into a deeper interest for the passion of collecting contemporary art, with Zhibing ultimately acquiring works by Chinese contemporaries such as Zhang Enli and Liu Wei, as well as internationally known including Antony Gormley, Olafur Eliasson, Sterling Ruby, Thomas Houseago, and Theaster Gates. Art Deco styled space and hip ambience lapped with futuristic lighting aesthetics form altogether a feeling that’s beyond reality.
