Daniel González: Mi Casa Tu Casa

For the occasion of Manifesta 12, Argentinian artist Daniel González has installed, in the garden of the Hotel Palace in Mondello, a house where the private objects of a Sicilian family become part of the house itself, eliminating the boundaries between private and public life. Mi Casa Tu Casa shifts the relationship between local and immigrant cultures, from internal to external, stemming from a deep reflection on the concept of hospitality and centuries of migration to the city of Palermo.
