For Hong Kong’s participation as an official collateral event at the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia,  a solo exhibition by Trevor Yeung commissioned by M+ and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC).

Yeung’s artistic expression revolves around inner logic of human relations, translating his own social experiences into captivating fables using mixed media, including staged objects, photographs, animals, and plants.

In this exhibition, the artist delves into the exploration of complex systems that shape our lives, shedding light on emotional disconnections and power dynamics. Yeung’s profound fascination with botanic ecology, aquatic ecosystems, and horticulture serves as a lens through which visitors are prompted to reflect on pressing issues such as the climate crisis and the dynamics of contemporary societies.
