The exhibition focuses on the politics of cartography, wars in everyday life, and the everyday in wars, raising questions about dwelling issues in relation to contemporary living situations. Taipei-based artist Yuan Goang-Ming is known for his poetic narratives conveyed through videos and installations that question ideas of home. He has profoundly portrayed changes that Taiwan has undergone using a refined and poetic visual language applied in new media art reflecting with his artworks Taiwanese people’s common awareness of existence.
