Cortona On The Move

Cortona On The Move is a Visual Narrative festival organized by the ONTHEMOVE Cultural Association with the artistic direction of Arianna Rinaldo. The tenth edition will be held in the historic center of Cortona and in the adjacent Fortezza del Girifalco. Over the years Cortona On The Move has hosted exhibitions of the greatest contemporary photographers and is one of the most important events in the sector at a European level. The festival is the dynamic center of contemporary photography where experimentation and tension towards future developments in visual language are welcome.

The festival takes place with a programme of events and exhibitions structured in full compliance with the safety guidelines provided to deal with the Covid-19 emergency. The tenth edition is dedicated to The COVID-19 Visual Project, downsized in the exhibition spaces and on the opening days which will initially be guaranteed on weekends, with possible midweek openings. By giving a signal of restart, the festival enlivens the city of Cortona, entertaining its tourists and residents.
