Rhythm and Pattern: DIY Screensaver

This workshop is aimed specifically at beginners; no previous knowledge is required (though some experience is also not a hindrance!). Work with Processing, a programming exercise developed by artists for artists and designed for the creation of visual animations. After a short introduction to programming, create and arrange patterns and rhythms into a small algorithmic composition. This can be then exported and run as a screensaver on the devices.

Mac/Linux laptops are available for use on-site; the participants are also invited to bring their own laptops (Mac, Windows, Linux).
