Mischa Kuball: res•o•nant Live
The Jüdisches Museum, Berlin, hosts the sound and light installation titled res•o•nant by conceptual artist Mischa Kuball. The artist conceived a new environment for two of the five vertical voids which perforate the spaces of the museum. The installation consists in rotating mirror elements and stroboscopic light impulses which project light fields, accompanied by a sound background of clips registered for the occasion. A programme of artistic interventions expands museum art into the public space of the city.
On the occasion of Berlin Art Week, the sound performance Deep Space by Juan Atkins will evolve in the res·o·nant installation at the Jewish Museum Berlin on September 28 and 29, 2018, from 4 to 8pm. At the same time, during the whole art week from September 26 to September 30, Mischa Kuball’s intervention res•o•nant Live will transmit the installation res·o·nant from the museum to Oranienstraße 1 in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
