Artisti Marziali – Art City Edition

Alchemilla presents “Artisti Marziali – Art City Edition”, an experimental project curated by Veronica Santi and promoted by the cultural association Alchemilla, created for ART CITY Bologna 2026 in collaboration with Arte Fiera.

On 2, 7 and 8 February 2026, twelve artists will take part in six live, unmoderated verbal encounters, in which each pair interviews one another in a direct and unpredictable exchange:
Sara Enrico vs Ramona Ponzini; Sissi vs Yuri Ancarani; Rudy Cremonini vs Eugenia Vanni; Paolo Chiasera vs Giulia Poppi; Alessandro Brighetti vs Jacopo Benassi; Anna de Manincor vs Emilio Fantin.

Like a boxing ring, these encounters reflect discipline, technique and confrontation. Without images or artworks, the focus is entirely on voice, dialogue and listening. Each session lasts around forty minutes, with unscripted questions and an audience seated in a circle around the speakers.

The recorded conversations will form a pilot podcast project, produced by Stefano D’Arcangelo (Nassau), and will become part of Alchemilla’s archive.
