Asia Society Art Gala 2016

“The Asia Arts Awards: A Gala celebration Honoring the Asia Arts Game Changers” honors members of the Asian arts community for their significant contributions to contemporary art. Proceeds from the Gala support Asia Society initiatives worldwide.

The international cultural and education organization, Asia Society, will honor three leading contemporary Asian artists with the Asia Arts Awards, recognizing them for their artistic excellence and contributions to Asian art. Drawing collectors, artists, gallerists, and other art world dignitaries, the Asia Arts Awards benefit dinner and auction will be held March 20 at the Conrad Hong Kong in Admiralty, and will kick off a week of events during Art Basel Hong Kong. The honorees are artists Cai Guo-Qiang, Nalini Malani, and Yoshitomo Nara.
