Tribute to Niki de Saint Phalle
A major exhibition organized by Fondazione Giardino dei Tarocchi, Fondazione Capalbio with Associazione Culturale Il Frantoio to pay homage to Niki de Saint Phalle
The exhibition aims to be a tribute to the artist through the rediscovery of her extraordinary history, her work and above all her experience in Capalbio. Through the works of artists who have collaborated with or inspired Niki De Saint Phalle, this exhibition aims to tell the topicality of the message that the artist herself intended to leave as a gift.
The initiative include the exhibition ” Il luogo del sogno: Il Giardino dei Tarocchi di Niki de Saint Phalle”, curated by Lucia Pesapane, under the direction of Maria Concetta Monaci. Taking place in Palazzo Collacchioni and Il Frantoio, the show also includes a series of events and collateral initiatives, talks and workshops featuring key figures in the fields of art, architecture, and science. Palazzo Collacchioni also hosts a series of educational workshops for children so to engage them in a journey to the appreciation of art.
Lastly, a series of wineries in the historic centre of Capalbio are hosting international, young and established artists to showcase their works which were affected or inspired by their relationship with Niki.
