Faena Festival 2019: The Last Supper

The 2019 edition of the Faena Festival presents seminal works, new commissions, installations, video and performances under the title “The Last Supper, an exploration of spirituality and food in contemporary art”.
Organised by Faena Art‘s chief curator Zoe Lukov, the festival explores food and spirituality, abundance and sacrifice, indulgence and abstinence, symbolism and aesthetics revealing connections among religious rituals and culturally-shared practices to establish the creation of new rites. Among the intervening artists, Myrlande Constant, Gabriel Chaile, Emeka Ogboh, Yael Bartana, Camille Henrot, Zhang Huan, The Propeller Group, and more.
