Film screening: Queen of Blood
The de la Cruz Collection hosts the screening of the science fiction cult classic “Queen of Blood”, Science Art Cinema #2: Fear.
Welcome by Frost Science CEO and President, Gillian Thomas and introduction by Kevin Arrow and Dr. Jorge Perez-Gallego. Prior to the screening, UM Psychologist, Elizabeth Reynolds Losin, Ph.D Director, Social and Cultural Neuroscience, will briefly discuss the topic of fear and how it affect the human brain and body.
Science Art Cinema has been curated by the staff of the Frost Science Museum: Kevin Arrow, art and collection manager; Barron Sherer, media archivist; and Dr. Jorge Perez-Gallego, resident astronomer and exhibition developer.
This is the second in a series of four curated events supported by The Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
Refreshment starts at 7pm and film screening begins at 8.30pm.
