Leandro Erlich: Order of Importance

“Order of Importance” is a monumental site-specific installation consisting of 66 life-size replicas of cars and trucks that will be left to slowly degrade for the duration of the 15-day exhibition. The sand manifestations of vehicles are frozen in time and represent immoveable modernity that makes a stark contrast with the natural, changeable and ultimately temporary material with which they are made.
