The Helen Venero Artist Lecture Series brings the world’s most important and innovative contemporary artists to the museum twice a year. This series affords established and emerging visionary artists the opportunity to discuss their work in depth through lectures, conversations and presentations.
Funded by a generous gift from Agustin F. Venero in honor of his late wife Helen and her work at the Frost Art Museum as a steadfast educator and devoted volunteer, the series seeks to introduce the University and South Florida community to leading figures in the art world. All lectures are free and open to the public.
Eli Sudbrack of assume vivid astro focus will discuss his most significant work in a self-described “Book Tour Lecture,” in which the artist walks the audience through key moments in the development of his immersive installations through the avaf monograph.
