ArtLine Milano: Milan Art Week 2020
Two new artworks will become part of the permanent art trail of ArtLine parc in Milan
Wednesday, September 9, 2020, two more artworks will join the permanent exhibition path of the Parco d’Arte Contemporanea – ArtLine Milano. The two pieces “New Times for Other Ideas / New Ideas for Other Times” by Maurizio Nannucci and “Beso” by Wilfredo Prieto” will become part of the public art project by Milan City Council, set in the CityLife park along a trail of twenty permanent works.
“New Times for Other Ideas / New Ideas for Other Times” consists of two specular neon inscriptions, conceived by Nannucci for the facade of Padiglione 3, the only surviving building of the historical location of the Fiera di Milano. “Beso” results from the union of two big rocks, touching in one point, almost simulating a kiss. Set in the urban and industrial setting, they represent the connection with nature.
