Marwa Arsanios: Who is Afraid of Ideology

On the occasion of “The Land Shall Not Be Owned” exhibition, opening on 8 April at its Turin venue, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo presents a conversation with screenings dedicated to “Who is Afraid of Ideology”, a project by artist Marwa Arsanios.

At 11:00 on 6 April, Cineteca Milano Arlecchino hosts a discussion between the artist and curator Agustin Perez Rubio, along with screenings of the five chapters in the series. The event explores land exploitation and local struggles for its reclamation in various regions of the Middle East and South America.

During the discussion, “Right of Passage” (2025), the fifth and final chapter of the series, filmed in Lebanon and co-produced by Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, is introduced.
