Visioni del sacro. Dialogue between Letizia Battaglia and Mario Botta

On Saturday 9 October at 11 am, the Ordine degli Architetti PPC di Parma in collaboration with the Accademia Mendrisio Alumni is organizing the event “Visioni dal Sacro” where Letizia Battaglia and Mario Botta will discuss the role of mourning and the sacred in their artistic experience.

The two leading artists on the cultural scene will compare the theme of violence imposed by the Mafia, present in Letizia Battaglia’s photographs, with the theme of the sacred, the primary matrix of Mario Botta’s architecture.

The event is part of the 15th edition of the “Festival Il Rumore del Lutto” and is curated by Francesco Di Gregorio and Eleonora Caggiati.
