Performing Oppositions

The Performing Oppositions seminar is a hybrid platform that intends, through various formats (talks, performances, screenings, informal encounters and workshops) to discuss, manifest and make present the narrow relations between political and artistic experimentation; between performance, theatre and the public sphere – bringing together artists, journalists, curators, activists, programming occurs in some neighbourhoods in downtown São Paulo, at Casa do Povo (Bom Retiro) and Teatro Oficina (Bexiga) as well as in Rio de Janeiro, in partnership with Capacete.

The seminar takes place at Casa do Povo (Bom Retiro) and Teatro Oficina (Bexiga) during October 21st, 22nd and 23rd, from 10am. to 8pm.
