Victor Lema Riqué: The Day Ratón Rojo Che Braga Didn’t Lose His Patience
On October 28th, Galeria Rabieh presents the silent audio-visual work The Day Ratón Rojo Che Braga Didn’t Lose His Patience, by Victor Lema Riqué (b. 1955, Uruguay). With approximately 30 minutes, the video will be exhibited in two sections, at 6pm and 7pm. At 8pm, the images will be accompanied by a live musical performance by musician and theorist Sergio Basbaum. The projection and performance will be followed by a talk with curator Paulo Gallina, Sergio Basbaum and visual artist Victor Lema Riqué.
The Day Ratón Rojo Che Braga Didn’t Lose His Patience is an experimental work by Victor Lema Riqué with performer Iara Guedes, photographer Ale Ermel and poet Gesine Last. The video is part of the exhibition ONTOGÊNESE, a solo show by Victor Lema Riqué curated by Paulo Gallina to be held in 2016 at Galeria Rabieh.
