Danza Sassari Danza
The 2026 programme of S’ALA, one of Sardinia’s leading organisations dedicated to contemporary dance and performance, unfolds from May to December with performances, artistic residencies, open rehearsals, and music events. This year, Danza Sassari Danza adopts a new format, evolving from a short festival into a season-long programme that expands opportunities for audiences to engage with contemporary performance.
The programme features works by emerging and established choreographers, including Noemi Piva, Mariagiulia Serantoni and Andrea Parolin, EM+, Teodora Grano, and the Basque-Sardinian company Igor x Moreno. Alongside performances, several open rehearsals offer insight into artists’ creative processes. International guests such as Fabio Liberti and UK-based queer artists Fra* Fadda and zanni CT will also take part in residencies in Sassari, further strengthening S’ALA’s commitment to fostering dialogue between local and international contemporary performing arts.
