African Art in Venice Forum
The African Art in Venice Forum is a public and free discursive event presented during the opening week of the Venice Biennale. The initiative was born to broaden the scope of a dialogue affected by the under-representation of African countries. The second edition will bring together a high-profile group of artists, curators, philanthropists, community organizers, collectors, and other art professionals who will engage in interactive talks and workshops on various topics. The evolving ecosystem of Biennials in Africa, the relevance of art publishing and the impact of technology on contemporary African artists’ practices are just a few of the topics that will be explored.
