Creation at the Nexus of Science Technology and Art
An intense dialogue between science, technology and art is increasingly emerging in recent times. Art institutions from around the world support the science and technology and are investigating, how the artist reflects, refuses, analyzes, is inspired by and inspiring science and technology. The hi-tech sector and institutions are investing in a high scientific implement programs to establish a dialogue with the art world, in order to better reflect the thought processes and priorities.
The European Commission has engaged in dialogue with the program STARTS – S & T & ARTS2 -which blends art and innovation. In this symposium, participants will reflect on how this dialogue can be enhanced and what would be the practical ways to put it into practice both in art institutions in both research groups and development in industry and university. What will be the impact of this dialogue on artistic creation? What will be the impact of this innovation dialogue in society and industry? How can such a dialogue to renew the art world and the world of science and technology?
