Galleria Alberta Pane, Venice Gallery Weekend 2026
On the occasion of the Venice Gallery Weekend 2026, gallerist Alberta Pane opens the doors of her private residence by appointment, where a temporary accrochage will be presented in the central salon, featuring a selection of works by artists represented by the gallery as well as pieces from her personal collection.
At the core of the installation is “La Forêt de Rouleaux – Divination” by the French artist Marie Denis, in which botanical principles serve as both conceptual and visual thread. Placed at the centre of the Venetian salon, the work enters into dialogue with drawings, sculptures and installations by artists including João Vilhena, Michelangelo Penso and Luciana Lamothe.
The gallery space in Dorsoduro, which is currently undergoing renovation, will reopen to the public on 8 May 2026, on the occasion of the Venice Biennale with “The Materiality of Judy Chicago”, a solo exhibition by the renowned American artist Judy Chicago, curated by Allison Raddock.
