Helicotrema

Punta della Dogana hosts one of the one of the stops of Helicotrema, the festival that presents a program of recorded audio pieces.
Helicotrema aims to investigate different forms of collective listening, inspired by the early decades of radio broadcasts. The program will aim to create site-specific listening situations, experimenting how the listening experience can be enriched and adapted to different contexts. The festival proposes a series of sonic pathways comprising sound works, audio plays, audio documentaries, soudscapes, experimental poetry and various formats based on the acoustic component.

Entrance is free for the visitors of the museum.
Entrance to the museum is free for the residents in Venice and for the students of Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, Iuav and Università Ca’ Foscari.
