I LOVE GAI 2016

The contest I LOVE GAI is dedicated to young Italian filmmakers under forty. More than 300 young authors applied, presenting works of different formats and genres. To enter the competition, each short film must have a maximum length of 30 minutes duration and had to be produced after January 1st, 2015.

The second edition will be held on September 1st and 2nd during the Venice Film Festival in Venice in 2016. A selection committee and the award jury selected the final 17 short films which will be screened at the Palazzo del Cinema. On September 2nd the award ceremony will be followed by a closing party at the Excelsior hotel in Lido. This party promises to be an event not to be missed during the Venice Film Festival frenzy.
