Ossessione Vezzoli

Two years in the life of internationally acclaimed artist Francesco Vezzoli while preparing his exhibitions at some of the world’s most prestigious museums and institutions such as the MAXXI Museum in Rome, MoCA in Los Angeles, the Venice Architecture Biennale or the MoMA PS1 in New York.

Francesco Vezzoli is the artist of pop culture. His installations feature the likes of Lady Gaga, Cindy Sherman, Veruschka, Natalie Portman, Eva Mendes, Helmut Berger, Cate Blanchett, Sharon Stone, Iva Zanicchi, Franca Valeri, Valentina Cortese and Marisa Berenson.

Commenting and analyzing his unique work are French philospher Bernard-Henri Lévy, W Magazine Director Stefano Tonchi, MOCA Director Philippe Vergne and MOMA PS1 Director Klaus Biesenbach.

From the initial idea through to its eventual exhibition, viewers are accompanied through each project in order to understand the artist’s creative process.
