The Venice Glass Week 2019

The Venice Glass Week is the first international festival dedicated to the art of glassmaking organized by the city of Venice and proposes, from 7 to 15 September 2019, a whole week of initiatives with artistic glass as the main theme.

The programme features exhibitions and installations, but also conferences, shows, workshops, themed dinners, guided tours, activities for children and many other events . The initiative is promoted by three of the main Venetian cultural institutions that have been working on the theme for years: the Civic Museums Foundation of Venice, the Giorgio Cini Foundation, the Veneto Institute of Sciences, Letters and Arts and the most important associations in the sector: the Promovetro Consortium Murano, brand manager of the Veneto Region Vetro Artistico® Murano.
