Rachel Rose: Wil-O-Wisp

Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo presents the European premier of Rachel Rose’s video installation Wil-O-Wisp, (2018). Produced in collaboration with the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the work is result of the inaugural Future Fields Commission in Time-Based Media.

Rachel Rose investigates our image-saturated environment and the various representation of history. For this piece the artist turns her attention to England in the late 1500s and the persecution of women accused of witchcraft.
