Agnes Meyer-Brandis: Cloud Cores, Moon Geese and Wandering Trees

The German artist Agnes Meyer-Brandis develops a playful poesy at the intersection of science and art. Driven by curiosity, she is on the search for hidden places and natural phenomena, scouting out the space between strict academic conventions and the fantastic sphere. She interweaves the solid ground of science with an unprejudiced artistic vision and from there arise works of subjective science. They are especially marked by an authentic and careful aesthetic.
