animalistic! No Culture Without Animals

Museum der Kulturen Basel presents an exhibition devoted to the complex relationship between humans and animals. Sacrificial offerings, amulets, masks, and even rattles reveal how important animals are to humans, exploring this varied, but also ambivalent relationship intercurring between them along the centuries.
