Carl Spitteler: Imago

Kunsthalle Palazzo presents the exhibition Imago to commemorate the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature 1919, Carl Spitteler.

The exhibition consists of three sections: the first section Geschichtsbilder (About history) offers the context of the time of the Swiss writer and searches for contemporary voices; the second section Frauenbilder (About women) follows his novel «Imago» and negotiates the image of women today; the third part Spiegelbilder (Reflections) reflects the thoughts of Spitteler with four contemporary artists.
