Food Shaping Kyoto

Drawing attention to the important relationship between food and urbanism on a global level, the exhibition Food Shaping Kyoto in the Buckminster Fuller Dome at the Vitra Campus presents how the urban form of Kyoto has been influenced by its unique culture and food circulation from its production to consumption. It documents the urban environment of one of Japan’s most historical cities and offers a material investigation into its unique food markets. »Food Shaping Kyoto« is an exhibition by the Vitra Design Museum in collaboration with Shadi Rahbaran & Manuel Herz and the KYOTO Design Lab.
