Michèle Janata is a glass artist whose ethereal yet dynamic work transcends the materiality of glass, exploring the interplay of light, form, and perception. She became a master student at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe (DE), where she completed her diploma and the Meisterschüler in sculpture in 2023. Her works are characterized by their ethereal yet dynamic compositions, which invite viewers to engage with the fundamental layers of reality. Pneuma presents a selection of glass and multimedia light installations that invite the viewer into a mystical spatial experience. Through her imaginative use of traditional and modern techniques, Janata pushes the limits of glass as a medium, engaging with space and dimension in ways that challenge our perception of reality.
