Peter Friedl

The sixth solo exhibition by the Berlin-based artist Peter Friedl at gallery Nicolas Krupp features pieces in different media. On view among the others, “Report” (2016), the video installation inspired by Franz Kafka’s short story “A Report to an Academy” (1917). Produced by Friedl on the occasion of documenta 14 in Athens and Kassel, the paramount video installation is a complex, almost cinematographic oeuvre. Also featured in the exhibition, “Rehousing”, a series of works started in 2012, consists of scale models of historical, partly-destroyed or never realised housing structures.
