Rafael Lozano-Hemmer’s solo exhibition “Excuse You!” brings together the artist’s new interactive installation of live thermal cameras, with some of his most iconic pieces still unexplored in a gallery space.
Rafael Lozano-Hemmer was born in 1967 in Mexico City and lives and works in Montréal, Canada. Since his emergence in the 1990s, he has mixed the disparate fields of digital media, robotics, medical science, performance art, and lived experience into interactive artworks. He is known for creating large-scale interactive installations in public spaces at the intersection of architecture and performance throughout Europe, Asia, and North America.
