Rosemonde: Du Rouge au Bleu

The Swiss artist grew up in an environment that was interested in art and ethnology.  In 1967 she graduated with honors from the École des Beaux Arts in Lausanne and in the same year she took part in the 1st International Salon of Jeune Gravure Contemporaine at the Musée de Genève, where she received the Prix de la Société des Femmes Peintres et Sculpteurs. received.

In the further development of her technique of early graphic and collage work, the artist combines all the expressive possibilities of painting and calligraphy. Since 1972, she has created the “Peinture Gravée” as well as jewelry creations. Her works have been exhibited in many well-known galleries in Europe and the USA. The current picture series was created as an exclusive work for this exhibition in Basel.
