Silver

The group exhibition “SILVER” at Laleh June Galerie in Basel, features pieces by artists Lori Hersberger, Marc Rembold and Philippe Zumstein, consisting in silver-coloured and mirroring surfaces. Besides celebrating silver, the exhibition focuses on the multiple expressions of self, whose different versions are offered by the distorted reflecting surfaces on view. The images in the mirrors challenge the conventional concept of self, fixed and set-up, to offer a fluid and multiform alternative, more consistent with the current globalised experience.
