Wild at Art: Make Love not War Man !
For the third consecutive year, Wild At Art on the Campus of the Arts in Basel to present works by renowned multidisciplinary artists of American, Afghani, Argentinian, British, Indian, Polish, Serbian, South Sudanese, Swiss, Russian, Ugandan and Ukrainian decent.
The exhibition Wild at Art builds on decolonial discourse recently highlighted by the Colonial exhibition at the Landesmuseum Zürich, addressing the enduring impact of colonial legacies on global inequalities and systemic discrimination. Featuring multidisciplinary artists who explore themes of power, exclusion, and identity, the show gives voice to immigrants, travelers, and cultural figures, confronting ongoing struggles around identity, belonging, and place in today’s world.
Builds on themes previously explored in Sylwia Zawiślak’s recent solo show at Artstübli in Basel and set against current global tensions—including war, rising nationalism, and digital transformation—Make Love Not War, Man! explores the destabilisation of social and economic structures.
