Wild at Art: Rivers of Life

“The Wild at Art” is a group exhibition of local and international artists that captures the energy of the city during Art Basel 2026. Hosted at Atelier Mondial on the Campus of the Arts in Basel, the project brings together multidisciplinary artists from diverse global backgrounds to showcase their varied life journeys and struggles.

Subtitled “Rivers of Life”, the exhibition uses the fluid symbolism of water to explore interconnected human experiences amidst modern polarization and conflict. The featured works merge personal and geopolitical narratives, addressing the existential impacts of migration, societal divisions, and colonial legacies. Inspired by a Creators of Peace session, the project seeks to foster cross-border solidarity and dialogue.
