Alice Channer: Early Man

Konrad Fischer Galerie, Lindenstrasse 35

Early Man is a new body of work using playful irony to undermine the myth of origins and beginnings. The works in the exhibition use inorganic, everlasting materials such as steel, pelletized HDPE, cast concrete, micro-plastics, cast aluminium-bronze and ceramic – to create continual mutations, rebirths, and, more plainly said: alterations. “Early Man” will be accompanied by two specially commissioned texts – a fictional story by Dietmar Dath and an essay by Mara Koelmel concerning the production process of the works in the exhibition.
