Alicja Kwade: Entitas

Entitas is the solo exhibition dedicated to the Berlin-based artist Alicja Kwade at König Galerie, Berlin. Kwade is used to address numerous scientific questions through her art, transferring them into artistic concepts; the title itself of the exhibition alludes to enquiries about the real essence of things and the matter which constitutes the world.

The works featured in Entitas express Kwade’s interest for the essence of objects and the processes of transformation that could potentially interest them. In pursuit of approaching the entity of things, Kwade describes and interprets the movements and transformations of everyday objects, revealing how everything is in constant flux.
