Edgar Sarin: Hierarchisch Angeordnete Edelgesteine, Dreizehn

Konrad Fischer Galerie presents “Hierarchisch Angeordnete Edelgesteine, Dreizehn”, a solo show by the artist Edgar Sarin. The exhibition takes its title by the eponymous work, composed by 13 wooden crates with a secret content, excavated by the artist and installed in the gallery during the opening night: the buyer of the work will receive a wooden sculpture, which will be exchanged with the original boxes after exactly 100 years. Together with the other works showcased at the gallery, the exhibition revolves around the concept of missing and/or hidden information, which the viewers has to fill with their imagination and own assumptions.
