Erik Schmidt: Rays Around You

Carlier | Gebauer presents a solo exhibition by the artist Erik Schmidt, “Rays Around You”: the title, in relation to Japan, where the artist spent some time in 2015, reminds the reactor catastrophe at Fukushima. Dealing with structure, geometry, and color as material, Schmidt approaches a complex blend of motifs in different media.
