Hours and Hours of Inactivity

Neuer Berliner Kunstverein presents “Hours and Hours of Inactivity”, a group exhibition curated by Rhea Dall resuming the exhibition series of the Berlin Senate’s Fine Arts Scholarship recipients. Gathering together eleven artists, the show reflects Berlin’s eccentric plethora of artistic genres, displaying works on different medias as photography, film, video, drawing, sculpture and installation. The exhibition takes its title from a musical catch phrase taken from a piece by participating artist Mariechen Danz and her band UNMAP, addressing how the duration and complexity of the included works drive the display.
