Jorinde Voigt: The Real Extent

Jorinde Voigt‘s investigational on the process of perception continue with the exhibition “The Real Extent”, that includes a new series of suspended works and recent works on paper.

The artist production aims at investigate the mutual relationship between external and internal reality, characterised by subjective sensations, emotions and memory.

This interest comes from Jorinde Voigt’s belief that humans are “always in context and in contact” with the world surrounding us. The artist convey this message through her approach to processes and materials. Although intuitive and expressive, Voigt’s language evolves from a nonetheless rigorous meditative and observational process.
