Kimsooja: Geometry of Breath

The multimedia artist Kimsooja (born in 1957 in Daegu, South Korea) currently lives in New York, Seoul and in Berlin. Her practice investigated the themes of corporeality and sensuality, mobility and homeland.
In her installations, performances, sculptures, videos and photographic works, she explores the human condition with investigations into current cultural phenomena such as migration, cosmopolitanism in an increasingly globalized world.
